Dear Dad,
The beautiful 25-year anniversary candle arrived
today in perfect condition!
I have never seen anything like it! It has
Grant's and my names and picture on it, and the
date of our wedding, as well as the date of our
25-year anniversary. It is pale blue, which
matches the decor in our family room. (It also
matches the pastel blue trim that was on my
wedding dress and the color of my Maid of Honor's
dress.) It also has ribbons and little silver
wedding rings on it.
The candle is sculpted with all kinds of fancy
wax loops and bows. It is incredible! Much too
pretty to ever burn, but we will cherish it
always as a loving gift from you and a
remembrance of our 25-year wedding anniversary.
